Stanford Ticket Office provides online, phone and in-person event registration and ticket services for student groups, university departments and their affiliates.

The services we offer include credit card processing as well as a variety of optional services for events including anniversaries, athletics, classes, conferences, conventions, exhibitions, festivals, film screenings, lectures, marathons, orientations, performing and visual arts, receptions, rehearsals, retreats, reunions, seminars, summits, symposia, tours, tournaments, workshops and high profile events etc. on campus and in the surrounding community.  

Stanford Ticket Office offers web authentication to verify Stanford University affiliation.

Stanford University is the beneficiary of all fees received by Stanford Ticket Office after accounting for approved service expenses.

Event Registration and Ticket Services include:

Building event in Stanford Ticket Office (STO) software, including venue registration/ticketing setup, pricing structure, surveys (with these field options: text box, text area, radio button, dropdown list, or check box), ticket design and more.

Designing and programming dedicated event webpage for event registration and ticket sales on STO’s website. You advertise your event using the STO web URL(s) for your email blasts and on your website(s) and social media outlets. 

Adding downloadable document (e.g. invitation letter, waiver form, invoice) to the webpage.

Emailing event updates or reminders within a few days of the event if requested.

Creating an online waiting list for sold out events.

Mailing tickets to customer(s) up to ten days from event date if will call or e-ticket option is not selected by ticket buyer.  Tickets purchased within ten days of event date will be held at will call if e-ticket option is not selected by customer.

Processing tickets in person and online with customer service support via email, phone, online chat and in person at STO in Tresidder Memorial Union during regular business hours – Monday thru Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. MasterCard, Visa, American Express, personal check with matching photo ID and cash are accepted forms of payment. 

Processing complimentary or consignment registrations/tickets for your VIPs/guests which can be picked up at STO in advance or at the venue within one hour of event start time if physical tickets are requested for a nominal fee.

Providing detailed reports of registrant/customer data periodically throughout the registration/on-sale period (e.g. daily, weekly etc.).

Emailing registration/ticket sales transaction reports on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis throughout the registration/on-sale period. 

Customizing exclusive email blast(s) to be sent to selected STO customers to promote your event(s) for a nominal fee.

On-site/venue sales and services including will call ticket distribution, walk up sales, event registration/ticket scanning.

Providing an Event Closing Statement detailing gross ticket sales, service fees and Presenter’s net ticket sales revenue within five business days after the event.  STO will transfer net ticket sales revenue to Presenter’s University PTA account for approval through the University’s iJournals web-interface within five business days after the event.  The same PTA account number (or other number provided by the Presenter) will be debited for amounts owed to STO.
