Department of Music Ticket Exchanges and Returns

Ticket Exchanges

Exchanges may be made in person, by phone or online for another Department of Music performance during the current season, pending availability. 

All ticket exchanges must be completed at least one business day prior to the performance.   If ticket exchanges are for a lower-priced ticket, the difference may be used towards additional Department of Music concert tickets or placed on account for future use during the current Department of Music season. The current Department of Music season is from September 1, 2016 to August 31, 2017. 

Funds placed on account and not used by the end of the current season will be forfeited. All exchanges or returns will incur a $2 handling charge per ticket regardless of payment method (account credit, credit card, cash or check). 

  • Ticket exchanges can be made for the current Department of Music season, pending availability.  Tickets are not exchangeable for Stanford Live, Stanford Ticket Office or other partnership performances or events.
  • Ticket exchanges will not be accepted after the deadlines listed above.   We cannot exchange or accept as returned tickets for past or missed performances.
  • Exchange by phone:  Please call the Stanford Ticket Office at 650.725.2787 or the Bing Ticket Office at 650.724.2464 with your tickets in hand.  Exchanges can be made during normal business hours.
  • Exchange online by email: Please use this form to submit your request.
  • Exchange in person:  Please visit the Stanford Ticket Office or Bing Ticket Office on the Stanford University campus during regular business hours with your tickets.  We are unable to process exchanges at show time; however, we will accept tickets to later performances, which will be processed in the following days.  Please see our Returned Tickets Policy if tickets are not exchanged at the same time they are returned.
  • Receiving your new tickets: For exchanges processed within ten (10) business days of the new performance, the new tickets will be held for pickup at the performance venue beginning one hour prior to show time.  All other tickets will be mailed.  Tickets for the new performance will be based on availability at the time of exchange.

 

Ticket Returns

Department of Music tickets can be returned in person, by phone or online up to one (1) business day prior to the concert. The value of the ticket(s) will be placed on account for future use during the current Department of Music season. The current Department of Music season is from September 1, 2016 to August 31, 2017.
